Questions homeowners ask
Can you hang a heavy mirror without a stud?
Often, yes, with the right anchor rated for the weight, like toggle bolts or a French cleat. For very heavy pieces or anything above a bed, we prefer studs. See our guide to hanging a heavy mirror on drywall.
Do you mount TVs?
Yes, on standard drywall walls using a mount you provide. We don’t move outlets or run new electrical; that needs a licensed electrician.
Can you hang things on plaster walls?
Yes. Plaster needs slower drilling and different anchors to avoid cracking, which is common in older Twin Cities homes. Tell us if you know your walls are plaster.
Do I need to buy the hardware?
Bring the item and any hardware that came with it. We carry common anchors and screws; specialty mounts or rods should be purchased ahead.
Can you lay out a gallery wall?
Yes. We arrange the layout with you before drilling so the spacing and height look right.
